This website is operated by STATERA, a business venture legally operating under North Umbrella Holdings Pty Ltd. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to STATERA. We offer this website, including all information, tools, and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.

SECTION 1 - ONLINE STORE TERMS

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence. You may not use our services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws and academic integrity codes).

SECTION 2 - GENERAL CONDITIONS

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. You understand that your content (not including credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve transmissions over various networks. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.

SECTION 3 - MODIFICATIONS TO THE SERVICE AND PRICES

Prices for our consultation services are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.

SECTION 4 - PRODUCTS OR SERVICES

We provide data science and quantitative data analysis support. Our services are available exclusively online through the website and are subject to phase-based completion. The consulting deliverables and services include:

Consultation Phase: Feedback on the reviewing of the Research Proposal and Research Questionnaire(s).
Research Design Phase: Assisting in designing measurable Research Questions, Research Objectives, and measurable Research (Statistical) Hypotheses. We also align the Research Questionnaire with the Research Objectives, design the Data Analysis Plan, and advise on appropriate software for data analysis.
Pilot Study Phase: Creating an SPSS Data File for Data Capturing. We execute data capturing, data cleaning, and data analysis of the Pilot Study including Descriptive Statistics (Frequency Tables, Custom Tables, and Summary Statistics), Reliability Analysis, and qualitative comments from participants. We also design the final Research Questionnaire for the Main Study.
Main Study Phase: Creating an SPSS Data File for Data Capturing. We execute data capturing, data cleaning, and data analysis of the Main Study according to the Agreed Analysis Plan, followed by structured Feedback Meetings.
Review and Report Writing (Optional): Reviewing of the Data Analysis Chapter and giving feedback accordingly for academic clients, or comprehensive Report Writing tailored specifically for organisations.
Training: We offer short training courses tailored for specific needs upon request.

We reserve the right to limit the sales of our services to any person, geographic region, or jurisdiction.

SECTION 5 - ACADEMIC AND CORPORATE LIABILITY

STATERA acts strictly as an analytical and statistical consultancy. We do not guarantee specific academic outcomes, publication acceptances, or university grades. The final interpretation, validation, and defense of the statistical findings remain the sole responsibility of the academic client. For corporate clients, business decisions made based on our data models, analysis, or reports are made at the sole discretion of the organisation. STATERA and its parent company, North Umbrella Holdings, limit total liability strictly to the fees paid for the specific project phase in question.

SECTION 6 - GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

STATERA reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change, modify, or replace any part of these Terms of Service, as well as our Privacy Policy, Returns and Refund Policy, Shipping and Delivery Policy, and any other legal notices, by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or the Service following the posting of any modifications to these policies constitutes explicit acceptance of those changes.

SECTION 8 - DIGITAL DELIVERY (STANDARD) Given that our services consist of research support, data analysis, and software reporting, the standard delivery mechanism for all completed milestones—including data files, questionnaires, feedback notes, and final reports—is digital. STATERA fulfills these deliverables via secure, private links using Google Drive or verified third-party cloud-sharing applications. Deliverables will be shared directly with the email address registered at checkout.

SECTION 9 - HARD COPY DELIVERY

Should you explicitly request physical, hard-copy prints of your datasets, finalized corporate reports, or training materials, physical shipping can be arranged. STATERA utilizes third-party courier services within South Africa to handle these shipments.

The cost of physical printing, packaging, and courier shipping is not included in our standard service pricing. All associated third-party courier costs will be calculated based on the delivery destination and will be billed directly to the customer via a separate invoice prior to dispatch.

SECTION 10 - PHYSICAL MATERIAL DROP-OFFS

If you have physical source documents, such as printed raw research questionnaires or archived physical reference books that you wish to drop off at one of our physical locations for data capturing, this must be arranged in advance. Upon request, the specific drop-site address and drop-off guidelines will be provided to you securely via email.

STATISTICAL DISCLAIMER

All analytical work performed by STATERA is based strictly on the data provided by the client. STATERA is not responsible for errors resulting from corrupted, fabricated, or inaccurate datasets provided during the primary or secondary data collection process.
